Brittany and Micah were such an enjoyable couple to work with. Both super laid back and wanted to have a no-stress relaxing day. Perfect.
They met while attending Wheaton College during their sophomore year, on a balcony that connected their two suites.
Now living in Boston’s South End, and having friends that live on-island, Nantucket is their go-to vacation spot and seemed the perfect place for them to tie the knot.
Flowers on Chestnut did a beautiful job as usual with gorgeous bouquets and flowers all around.
With 9 bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen we found space to shoot the large wedding party at the dock at Children’s Beach and by utilizing some of the local dinghies.
One shot that was a must have for Brittany was at the compass at the bottom of Main st.
Definitely a classic Nantucket spot.
A little fun on Main st.
We wanted to make sure we got to shoot at a few different locations but this couple wasn’t afraid to move quickly to be back in time for dinner.
Micah’s groomsmen had the whole place laughing and crying, and in the end pulled off some of the most emotional speeches I’ve witnessed.
Certainly a crowd pleaser.
The cupcakes as well as this unique whale cake were made by Petticoat Row Bakery on island.
Let the dancing begin!
I’ve seen people get low before at a wedding plenty of times, but this guy brought it to a new level.
This crowd absolutely destroyed the dance floor! People of all ages getting in there and dropping moves.
Thanks to Tasha Bracken and SD Events for making everything run so smooth.
Congratulations Brittany and Micah! What a memorable weekend for everyone.
I can’t wait to hear all about your honeymoon in Bora Bora!
Until next time Nantucket…
Nate, these pictures are stunning! I can’t wait to see what ours will look like 🙂
