Margaux and nick’s wedding is fast approaching and they wanted to capture some fun engagement photos and also spend a little time getting comfortable in front of the camera.
Luckily for me, not only are they a great couple (and hilarious), but they also have a bright yellow tandem Schwinn bicycle that is their primary mode of transportation in the city.
We met up at the Distillery, an artist live/work space in South Boston where they both live and where Nick works as a fine art painter.
Margaux works for Harvard University Press and met Nick at Open Studios at the Distillery in the Fall of 2010. Nick asked Margaux to model for one of his paintings and here they are today!
I rode along on one of my old Schwinn cruisers so I could keep up, and we headed off to Castle Island.
Picturesque Castle Island coupled with the gorgeous day made for a picture perfect back drop for this engagement session.
Margaux & Nick were naturals in front of the camera lens and were so fun to photograph.
I’d do that again any day!
I can’t wait to photograph the wedding coming up later this month.
