To promote their upcoming album, Steven Tyler and the members of Aerosmith played a free concert in the streets of Boston at 1325 Commonwealth Avenue, a location where the band once lived.

I had the day off from shoots, so I decided to see if I could get some photos of them for my portfolio.

With a 400mm lens and 2 milk crates, I was able to get a good vantage point above the rest of the crowd. Although I still felt pretty far away,   I was able to get some great shots of the band performing.

Definitely worth the bike ride out to Allston for these photos.

Surrounded by confetti, Tyler gave a last look out to the crowd before exiting the stage.
